A few reminders so you can stay in the know:
~ No School tomorrow, Friday, November 12. This is a day that teachers use to prepare report cards and work samples for our upcoming parent-teacher conferences.
~ Conferences are upon us! Conferences are scheduled for November 16, 18 and 22. Please enter Door #8 when you arrive at your child's conference, as this will be the only door open during conference times. There will be hand sanitizer and masks available at this entrance. We will not have Child Care available during conferences, so if you have younger children who need care during a conference, please strongly consider requesting a virtual conference. In many ways, a virtual conference can be just as productive and efficient as an in-person conference. Virtual is also a great option if you don't love wearing a mask. If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please do so using this link.
~ The Roosevelt Book Fair will also be held on November 16, 17, and 18 in the Roosevelt gym (November 16th and 18th from 2:30pm to 8:30pm (during conferences) and November 17th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm).
Again, Door #8 will be the only door open, so please use this door to enter and exit the book fair. Please use hand sanitizer when you enter, and please mask up upon entering. Extra masks will be available should that be needed. Typical Scholastic book orders are taking a very long time to fill, so be thinking of any gifts you may want to purchase for the holidays and buy them at the book fair! Here is the online link if you are planning to order via the online link. More book fair information below.

MN Safe Learning Survey
For parents/families:
To provide a picture of the landscape in education across Minnesota this school year, the University of Minnesota is working with the Minnesota Department of Education to gather information from educators, students (grades 6-12), and families regarding their experiences with schooling. This anonymous survey is being administered at three different times this year: February, May, and October 2021. Please consider taking 5 minutes to respond. Data will be reported publicly at a state level, and school Districts and Charter schools will receive local information to compare against the statewide data. We know that surveys do not solve problems, but your input can help identify potential solutions moving forward. Thank you for your consideration in taking this survey by November 24:
