Welcome Back!!
2021-2022 School Year
A message from the Principal...
I hope this newsletter finds you and your family well. While summer break often brings images of family hikes, fun on the river, and lazy rainy days, that hasn't been the case at Corinth CSD. We have been busy providing learning activities around academics and athletics. The maintenance and cleaning crews continue to work diligently to prepare our schools and grounds for the fall. The technology team has been busy cleaning and repairing every single chromebook in the district. This is no small task for a district that is one to one with devices K-12!! The Corinth Cafe served hundreds of meals throughout the summer weeks. The transportation crew provided bus rides for all of the students participating in summer learning. We are grateful for all of the teamwork to create the best learning environment for our students. We are just about ready to welcome everyone back into the building. We will have a short supply drop off time on Tuesday, September 7 details are below. Please review all of the current COVID-19 protocols and contact me with any questions. I am very excited for this school year to begin. We have so many new and fun programs planned for the year.
Sincerely,
Renee Young
Building Principal
School Supply Drop Off
3:00-3:30
This is a tradition that we missed last year due to COVID-19 limitations. This year the school will be open with safety protocols in place. All individuals must wear a mask while inside the school building and three feet of physical distancing should be maintained. We ask that families plan on one adult attending to keep the numbers of visitors low. Staff will be available throughout the school to assist you in finding your new classroom. Most of our teachers will be in their rooms to meet students and collect school supplies. Families can drop in anytime between 3:00-3:30.

Welcome Universal Preschool and Kindergarten Students!!
This year's Kindergarten class is a large one! We have five sections of Kindergarten and three new teachers. We are looking forward to this big class and their start in our school.

School Hours and Parent Drop Off
K-4- 8:15-2:20
As stated above, we are staggering our start and end times to provide an early arrival/dismissal for the UPK students. With this schedule difference we need to change our parent drop off traffic flow. The goal of this change is to provide a safe and early drop off for our youngest learners. They will be starting their school day at 8:00 while the rest of the building will start at 8:15. Therefore, we will reroute the UPK parents through the bus loop to bypass the the longer K-4 parent drop off line. A video was created to help explain the change and is linked below. The UPK bypass will be closed at 8:05 to allow school buses onto the bus ramp. We will have signs and staff out directing traffic for the first month while we all get used to the change. Parents of students in UPK with siblings in K-4 will drop off their UPK student and park in the empty lot by the parent drop off loop. Parents will walk their K-4 child to the sidewalk for drop off at 8:15. https://www.wevideo.com/view/2314290008
