Thought for the Week...

Dear Unami,

We begin spring sports this week so be on the lookout for warmer weather, cleats, gloves and the smell of fresh cut grass (as soon as all the snow melts). Congratulations to our boys' 8th grade basketball team who had a phenomenal season and came so very close to winning the league tournament championship on Friday against Holland Middle School with a score of 29-25.

This week's Teaching Channel introduces new science teacher laureate, Tom Jenkins. In his first blog he discusses how he found his passion for teaching science and provides links to a wealth of curriculum and lesson plan sites. Here is one to STEM Curriculum available through the Dayton Regional STEM Center:

Welcome to Nicole Brandecker. Nicole is an CB graduate and will be working with our 7th and 8th grade learning support students. A reminder that PSSA season is now upon us so our guidance conference room is now off limits. Check with Melissa about booking conference room 5A or room 8 for your conferences. If you need the "clicker" for the auditorium projection screen, please see Sue for checkout.

Have a Happy St. Patty's Day and a great week,

Unami United,
