QUIET HOURS = REAL TALK
Even if YOU don't like to sleep, OTHER PEOPLE DO!
Silence is the universal refuge, the sequel to all dull discourses and all foolish acts, a balm to our every chagrin, as welcome after satiety as after disappointment. ~Henry David Thoreau
Even if YOU'RE tired after a week of seemingly endless preparation for seemingly endless tests, the only thing that is on your mind is probably having a good time on at least one day of the weekend. And that's fine. You do you. But remember one thing: as a part of the campus community (and Toscanini specifically), you are a part of something that encompasses more than just you. So just as you have the right to have fun, OTHER PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO SLEEP! Don't take this away from them! Have RESPECT for them and the rules presented to you in the Student Conduct Code.
So just as a reminder:
- Quiet Hours on Sunday - Thursday are 11:00 pm - 10:00 am
- Quiet Hours on Friday - Saturday are 2:00 am - 10:00 am
- If another resident asks you quiet down, be COURTEOUS and comply with their request. Courtesy Hours are in effect 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
-Quiet hours for FINALS week start at 4:00 pm on the last day of class and then EVERYDAY during the finals week
