Updated: Bridge Attendance Guidelines
Updates from School Nurse Mrs. Travis
I am really proud of everyone for being responsible and staying home when you are sick. Please continue to screen yourself every morning before coming to school and have your parent/guardian call if you need to stay home.
As we head into winter we need to make sure we are supporting our immune system as best we can. Keep up the great work wearing your masks and washing hands frequently. Adequate sleep, water intake, and nutrition is very important in keeping our immune system in good shape. Turn all screens off and keep a consistent bedtime. Your brain and body need time to rest and recoup. Please remember to bring your reusable water bottle with you to school. Try to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables each day to make sure you are getting all the vitamins your body needs to fight off illness. Continue to physically distance as much as possible and do not share food or drinks.

Sign Up for e-Alerts!
In order to communicate with parents, guardians, students, staff, and community members, BCSC has an e-Alert system that will send text alerts and emails.
When you sign up for e-Alerts, you have the option to select only district messages or messages pertaining to specific schools. You can sign up for as many schools as you would like.
BCSC uses e-Alerts to communicate school closings, delays, early dismissals, and emergency announcements. Depending on the situation, BCSC could send e-Alerts to specific building lists or to the entire district.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Students need to be in class to participate fully in the learning experience. As a school, we've set a goal of 98% attendance for our students. Please help us reach our goal by encouraging students to get to school every day they can!
Help us meet our goal and start the school year strong!
1st Period starts at 7:45 a.m.
Stay healthy!
Remembering to practice simple daily steps can help prevent the spread of germs:
- Wash your hands!
- Cover your cough/sneeze
- Eat well and build up your immune system
- Exercise to build your body's strength
- Sleep and get plenty of rest
HELP US CA$H IN!
Coca-cola rewards make it easy to donate to our school (similar to the Box Tops program). Every case of Coca-Cola cans (Sprite, Diet, etc) and PowerAde cap contains a CODE.
- Go to https://us.coca-cola.com/give/school-profile/?institutionid=11070947
- Create an account.
- Start scanning your codes!
- Don't want to do it yourself? Send in your codes to school and our PBIS team will scan for you!
Do you shop at Kroger?
It is nearly effortless to donate funds to our school's student activities fund. Register now so that every time you use your Kroger card (@ Kroger or JayC) to purchase groceries, a portion will be automatically donated to CSA New Tech. (Does not include Kroger gas.)
- Go to https://www.kroger.com/communityrewards
- Create an account.
- Find our school (I just put in New Tech and it came right up) and click on it.
- Insert the UPC code from your Kroger loyalty card and you will be linked to our school!
You can follow school events, photos, and updates on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. We like to celebrate the great projects and hard work done by our students and facilitators throughout the year.
Please help us spread the word!
