Parents and guardians, join us and enjoy our Literature Day Parade at 8:05 made up of our students in their Literature Day Costumes and Outfits. Masks nor real or fake weapons are allowed.

Counselor's Corner
Hi Families!
This week at school your kiddos learned all about BIG problems and little problems. They learned they should immediately contact a trusted adult during a big problem, but they should try to use their coping skills in order to get through whatever little problem it is they are facing.
This week during classroom presentations our TK-1st learned about following directions, 2nd-5th learned more about coping skills and what emotions they should be using them for, and 6th-8th learned about thinking errors - thinking errors are extreme ways of thinking that can bring about unwanted or unnecessary behaviors.
Next week your kiddos will be learning about Fairness during our Morning Howl and how important it is to know the difference between equity and equality!
*Gentle reminder: Ms. V is a school counselor, meaning that she helps your kiddos with school-based needs. These school based needs can include feeling anxious in class or at school, needing social tools on how to make new friends, organizational skills to stay on track with assignments, emotion management, etc. She is happy to check-in with kiddos about their social and emotional wellbeing, but she is meant to be a short-term solution. If you think your child could benefit from outside therapy or counseling, please get in contact with her and she can refer you to the proper resources. Thank you for your understanding!

Remember that the right lane is for dropping off in the designated drop off area. The left lane is for safely passing. Neither lane is for parking. Please continue to be mindful of our neighbors by not parking in driveways, fire lanes or no-parking zones.
