GLJH Pop Show

These students have signed up to help with the GLJH Pop Show on Thursday, May 18th. Please be at GLJH at 5:30pm. The pop show will be in the GLJH Cafeteria. If you can no longer help, please let Ms. White know as soon as possible. Student helpers need to wear their Choir t-shirt and jeans with no holes.

If you are able to be at the dress rehearsal after school until 4:00pm on Wednesday, please let Ms. White know. It would be helpful if you can be at both to see how the show will run, but if you cannot go that is fine.

Fine Arts Signing Day

Fine Arts Signing Day is next week on Monday, May 22nd right after school. If you are able to attend please do so! We would love to see a big crowd of choir students to support our fine arts students going into music in college. The event should only last around 30 minutes and will be in the TMHS Auditorium, with a reception to follow in the lobby.

Choir Placements for 2023-2024

Choir placements for next school year will be released later this week. These will be posted on the Choir website, and a remind will be sent out when the lists are posted.

Spring Trip 2024 NYC

Next year is our out-of-state trip year and the TMHS Choir and Orchestra Departments have been approached about a collaborative performance in Carnegie Hall during Spring Break of 2024! This is an exciting opportunity for both of our programs! Approximate dates are Wednesday, March 13th - Monday, March 18th, 2024. This will be the only trip offered for the Spring of 2024.

Please note that if we do not reach the required number of performers to combine with the TMHS Orchestra, the TMHS Choir will still be going to New York for the Spring 2023 trip and performing at Carnegie Hall.

**This $300 deposit is for all travelers, and is non-refundable. Please make your deposits at the link below**

We are checking eligibility rules because this trip will be during Spring Break and because no school days would be missed.

Below is the presentation and notes from the Interest meeting.

**Mandatory Wildcat Choir Camp July 31-August 2**

As we are nearing the end of the school year we wanted to go ahead and put Wildcat Choir Camp on everyone's radar. This is our own summer camp for all Choir students that is required and expected. The schedule and dates for this camp are below. Wildcat Choir Camp will be held at TMHS and lunch will be provided each day.

Following Wildcat Choir Camp, we will host our own District Choir Camp for all students wishing to participate in the Texas All-State Choir Process. Chorale is required to participate in this process.
