It was great to see everyone last Friday at our Zoom meeting. This definitely is a trying time for us so having moments to connect again with each other as a team is very much needed!
This week, please continue with the staff trainings. See below for some future recommended webinars. Some staff are working on Distant Learning Videos or are assisting with prepping activities this week as apart of their work assignments. You are welcome to inquire about completing various tasks as apart of your time at home, just inquire with Miss. Lisa.
IA BCH's: https://afirm.fpg.unc.edu/afirm-modules. Please plan to watch any of these learning videos per day. Upon completing each video, you will earn a certificate that you need to submit to Lisa. You should earn 3-4 certificates per week depending on the training length.
PreK assistants in QPI and/or Inclusion Class: Work on your Inclusion readings and assignments.

If you chose to select one of the 5 listed topics above (not a course), email me your choice ASAP. For the 5 listed topics above, you will be expected to write a daily synopses including:
- What you learned and plan to share with your preschool colleagues?
- What you will do in the future based on a requirement or recommendation?
- What you would you like to learn more about?
PreK teachers: Continue in the Early Education Inclusion class, maintain parent daily office hours and assist families when applicable, schedule and host Zoom meetings, release emails every Monday informing parents what the theme of the week, letter, number, color is and to remind them of your scheduled Zoom meetings.

NEW MILITARY Training available to all:
Anchored4Life (A4L) has opened a new E-Learning series and YOU are invited to participate! There are numerous live webinars offered focusing on A4L's 10 core topics. A4L’s purpose is to deliver high-quality transition and resilience support for the youth of our military service members.
The webinars are FREE and open to anyone who supports our military youth: parents, family members, teachers, Anchored4Life Team Leaders, and anyone you believe would benefit from these sessions.

April is Month of the Military Child
Please take time this month to recognize military-connected students. Below are a couple of ideas:
- Ways to Recognize Month of the Military Child Virtually: https://www.sdcoe.net/news/Pages/2020-military-child-month.aspx
- Ask everyone to wear purple (official color recognizing military children) for National Purple Up Day on April 22
- Acknowledge Month of the Military Child on your school marquee
- Share the attached military child poems through email, newsletters, or class meetings (sent via SSES Family Newsletter)
