Caramel Corn Recipe
Gather Your Ingredients
Popcorn - 5-7 quarts
Butter - 1 stick
Brown Sugar - 2 cups
Karo Dark Syrup - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
Preheat your oven at 250ยบ
Pop your popcorn (air popped keeps the final product light). Put in a large roasting pan and set aside while you make the sauce. In a sauce pan, melt the butter without burning. Mix in the brown sugar. Stir in the syrup and salt. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Make sure you keep stirring so the mix does not burn. Take off the heat and stir in the baking soda. Pour mixture over the popcorn and stir it so the popcorn is coated.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool about 10 minutes.

Don't burn the butter
Add brown sugar, Karo syrup and salt. Mix it well.
Secret's in the Sauce!
Bring it all to a boil, stirring as you go, and cook for another 5 minutes.
