Egg Harbor Township High School
Week of January 3, 2021
A Message From Our Principal
Greetings to all and Happy New Year!
We have started 2021 still in the virtual world and excited to move to in-person teaching shortly. The District set the date for when we move to all virtual learning back in November to returning on January 19, 2021. All seems to be moving forward and the date is still set to return to Hybrid teaching on Tuesday, January 19. There will be no Synchronous Learning on January 18 as it is on the school calendar to be off for Martin Luther King Day.
Hybrid learning will happen as it did back in October. Group A Tuesday and Wednesday, Group B Thursday and Friday. All Virtual on Mondays and those students who are completely virtual will attend all week. That being said, students may need to refresh on what the expectations are during this time. Attendance is still a critical component of learning and we strictly adhere to the state mandate of 180 days. Missing class can result in an absence for the entire day. Let’s not get caught up in that and do our best to be in all classes and communicate always with your teachers.
Looking forward to seeing people in the building again! Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
