Principal's Pen

Dear Bishop Baraga Trekkers,

This is our last week of school before our Easter break. Friday is a 1/2 day and we have a special morning planned. We have mass at 8:00 a.m. Directly after Mass, Father Janusz will have Exposition. Our classes will then take turns spending time in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament. At 10:30 a.m. we will have Benediction. We invite you to stop in that morning to spend time in prayer with the students or join us for Benediction.

Thank you to all who attended our re-enrollment Zoom meeting last Tuesday evening and to all those who have already registered for the upcoming school year. We are at 85% re-enrollment and are hoping to reach 90% by the end of this week. If you have not registered, please do so by Friday. After Friday, March 26th, the re-enrollment fee goes from $50 to $100. Click on the following link to enroll for the 2021-2022 school year:

As your tuition contracts are completed we will be sending them either in the Monday Mailer, through email, or we will mail them, depending on what you chose on the enrollment form. Once you receive your contract, please sign it and return it to the office.

Our Caught Being a Christian Award this week goes to Sloan Cabrera. One morning, when Sloan arrived in the classroom before all of her classmates, she put all their chairs down for them. She was practicing the virtue of kindness. Great job, Sloan!

Have a wonderful week and God bless!

Stations of the Cross

Father Janusz led the students in the Stations of the Cross on Friday afternoon. This is such a beautiful devotion that allows us to reflect on the Passion of Christ.

5th-8th Grade Latin

Father Michael has been teaching Latin this year to our 5th through 8th graders. When I stopped in the room this week the students were practicing singing the parts of the Mass in Latin. I wish you could have heard it!

Pirate Day

Pirate Day was not last week, but I just had to share these pictures of some of the 1st graders from the week before. Look at those great costumes!

Volunteers for Carpet Removal

During our Easter break we are having the floor replaced in our 2nd grade classroom. We have had some very generous donors make it possible for us to replace flooring and we are starting with our second grade. If there are any parents who would like to help Mr. Vicenzi prepare the room for the reflooring, he could use the help on Saturday, March 27th. He will be ripping out the old carpeting that day. Please call or email the office if you are available to help.
