The Hungate Echo
Sherburn Hungate Weekly News - Autumn Term 2 - Issue 1
A word from Mr Broom.
Meanwhile, the teaching staff met to discuss the changes we have implemented since September and review what needs to further change and tweak. I must say, the staff are working incredibly hard to provide some super learning experiences for our children.
Our wonderful year six children also took part in the local area indoor athletics competition on Thursday and I'm so proud to tell you that they came third overall, with some inspirational individual and team performances.
Next week, our leadership team are meeting on Monday afternoon to review the way that we teach English and our Nursery open afternoon is on Thursday.

Co-Op Fundraising Update
Just an update on our Co-operative fundraising – we’ve now raised £569.00!
Please remember to support the fundraising for our playground markings by logging on to https://membership.coop.co.uk and signing into your account – or join if you are not a member - or you can go straight to the Community Fund profile page at https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/6616/
You can then nominate Sherburn Hungate’s playground markings as the local cause you would like to support. Ask family, friends and neighbours for their support too! The fundraising runs until 11th November 2017 and we will receive 1% of everything that Co-op members spend on Co-op branded products and services. The more members that choose our cause the more money we will get.
