Who is Maggie Stiefvater?
Maggie Stiefvater is an author who has written about three series, but aside from being an author she has other things in her life you may not know about. She has been a wedding musician and she prefers to play the bagpipes. Has been a technical editor. She is an artist and work as a portrait artist. She was also a waitress. And, of course, a book author.
Aside from writing she has a family. She lives with her husband and two children. Nine goats who all have their own name. Three dogs and a cat. And of course her 1973 Camaro named Loki.
Now to what she does as an author. Books are described as “beautifully written” or “has a perfect thrill.” The first series she has ever written was the Books of Faire. Soon after the Wolves of Mercy Falls came out. Other series she has written are The Raven Cycles and Spirit Animals. She has infringed readers that she is not going to make The Scorpio Races a series. Maggie has “managed to surprise us all with her amazing talent.”

Beautiful Historic Place
Have you ever been to Shenandoah Valley? Caverns in the valley are described as a “beautiful place to visit”. There are many caverns and caves. From the trails of Luray Cavern, to the “deep colors” at the Shenandoah Cavern. People go to the caverns to escape the summer heat, because the average temperature is 54 degrees.
Then you can learn about the civil war at the Grand Cavern. From the Battle of Opequon or Third Winchester on September 19, 1864. To the Battle of Fisher Hill on September 20, 21, 1864. There was even a burning that killed nearly 2,000 people.
There are many more things to explore. You can visit museums to learn more about the past and history. You can also learn that the Shenandoah Valley stretches 200 miles on the Blue Ridge MT. and the Allegheny MT. People will tell you it's a nice place to get away from life.
