Grains
An oz of grains can be 1/2 cup of cooked rice, or it can be 1 cup of ready to eat cereal. You should get about 8oz or grains a day.
Fruit
A cup of fruit is equivalent to 1 cup of 100% fruit juice. Each day you should get 1/2 to 2 cups per day.
Dairy
1 cup of milk or yogurt counts as a cup of dairy. You should get 3 cups of dairy a day.
Vegetables
2 cups of raw leafy greens are a cup of vegetables are equal to 1 cup of vegetables. 2 1/2 cups of vegetables are needed for my age.
Oil
A teaspoon of oil is equal to 2 1/2 teaspoon of mayonnaise. You should get 6 teaspoons of oil.
Calories
For children my age, you should get 2200 and girls need 2000 calories per day.
Exercise
You should get 60 min a day if you are under the age of 17. Good exercises are swimming, running or walking.
