Walker-Winter Family Update
Great Futures Start Right Here!
Week of May 15, 2023
Hello!
I appreciate the kind words and support that I received from many of you after you heard my robo call or read my newsletter last week about my new position. Principal Kristen Brickey will be the Principal at Walker starting July 1st.
Being at events like "my last spring carnival" (getting slimed!) on Friday make me very emotional. I adore my Walker students, staff and families! Our P2 focus of Purpose ties beautifully to my changes.
As a school, we will focus on Purpose. We define purpose as you have beliefs about the meaning of life and your life's purpose. You seek to be part of something greater than yourself. We look forward to reading, discussing, and watching video clips of this. For more details, please click on Positivity Project for Families Go to Resources then P2 for families or P2 para familias en espanol. Password is P2. Read about ways that your family can support this at home.
