August 23 , 2018

This is just a quick hello to give you a heads up about a few important details for the fall and some things to expect. As a reminder, the first day of school for students is Wednesday, September 5th (full day), and is an "A" day. You will find the Rotation Calendar further on in this newsletter. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces next month. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer, and soak up that August sunshine!

Building Facelift

Thanks to an amazing, hardworking crew, you will notice some awesome improvements throughout the school when you return...replacement ceiling tiles throughout the building, new pool filter and upgrades to the pool area, refurbishment of the Gym bleachers along with new banners, painting of the halls and Library, new lighting systems in the classrooms, and other general maintenance needed around the building.

Summer Warriors

A huge THANK YOU to those who kept the building functioning smoothly all summer long! Whether you helped to get our classrooms, gym, and hallways ready for learning, kept our offices running without a hitch, worked on scheduling or administrative duties, helped prepare our fall athletes ready for their season, kept our school safe and secure, or did whatever it took to prepare LHS for another school year, we thank you!!!
