Principal's message - week 44
Greetings North Plains Families!
It's carnival time! Please join us tomorrow from 12-3 for a fun time at the carnival! The dunk tank will be open and Mr. Mac and I will be in the dunk tank along with Officer Glem, Michael Bernards from the city, and likely even Mrs. Kind who is organizing the event! I hope to see you there:)
Our final PBIS assembly will be on Friday, June 8 at 8:00. Shining Stars will be given out and the class winner for attendance will be announced.
The 6th grade celebration is happening June 14 at 12:30. Students moving from elementary to middle school will have a chance to celebrate their accomplishments and special awards will be announced. Field day is coming up June 11 and we will need volunteers! I don't have a sign up yet, but will get it out as soon as I do. Please look for that early next week.

The Science Fair is coming May 24. Students will have projects on display in the library during the Spring Showcase. Projects will be judged prior to the evening event and winners will be announced within the musical performance. All students are encouraged to participate. Projects will be completed outside of school hours, but there will be two after school workshops, May 7 and 14 where students can get some support. Project boards are available for those who need them. State testing will be coming up before we know it, and there are always questions around what happens and why.
