Snow Day Challenge

Share your celebration!
Begin by finding a comfortable spot to read. Read for at least 15 minutes. Share what you liked about the reading, and what you now wonder. Then tackle the challenges below. Choose your favorite challenge, or do both.
Don't forget to share your challenges on social media! For Lake Shore students, post on Facebook (district and/or building page) or Twitter (use the hashtag #mylsps). For those of you not Lake Shore students, feel free to share on Twitter using #MichED.
Challenge #1
Thank a Superintendent
Most schools were called off on Sunday, allowing students and parents to sleep in. It's tough to make that kind of call. Let your Superintendent know you appreciate it! What is the most creative way you can say thank you? Write and perform a song? Create a poem? Lake Shore students should tag @drdiponio on Twitter in addition to using the hashtag #mylsps
Challenge #2
Snow Crafty
It's too cold to safely be outside, so bring the snow in! Create paper snowflakes to decorate your room. Video links are posted below as ideas to help get you started, but feel free to create your own, in your own way.
