Week 17
We are winding down and working hard! This week, progress folders will be coming home on Wednesday. We are scheduled to take our 2nd district benchmark testing Thursday and Friday of this week. We are not stressing over these, but striving to do the very best we can. They are practice, but we do and the district does look at the data from these.
Be on the lookout for a sign up genius link in another email from us so we can prepare for our holiday brunch on December 18th! We appreciate all what you do for your students at home and for helping make our classroom a success!

4.NF.3aUnderstand addition and subtraction of fractions as joining and separating parts referring to the same whole.
4.NF.3bDecompose a fraction into a sum of fractions with the same denominator in more than one way, recording each decomposition by an equation. Justify decompositions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model. Examples: 3/8 = 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 ; 3/8 = 1/8 + 2/8 ; 2 1/8 = 1 + 1 + 1/8 = 8/8 + 8/8 + 1/8

I would also like them to log onto Think Central if they have time, so they can work on their share and show assignments.
GO MATH textbook and resources online https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do

*If you have internet access have your child log onto his/her account and practice math fact fluency and math skills tailored to your child’s strengths and weaknesses
www.mobymax.com and www.xTramath.org
*http://www.worksheetworks.com/ allows you to personalize certain skills to practice.
