Ben Eielson Jr. Sr. High
April 16th, 2020 Updates
Eielson Families,
We are finishing week 3 of Remote Learning and I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe! The month of April is typically our ramp up time for spring/summer activities, Covid-19 has forced us to make some adjustments. It isn't the way we looked to finish the school year nor did we imagine celebrations would not look the same. Enclosed in this update are some recent recognitions of the talent, creativity, and scholarly work from our Ben Eielson students. Job well done!
Ben Eielson High School's Graduation will occur, it will not be held in our traditional format, plans are being coordinated with contingencies based on directives and mandates. Thank you to the parents of seniors assisting with what was known as Grad Bash 2020, for making this be a special event. We do not have the Caps and Gowns here at the school yet, we will make that known for pick up when they do come in.
Hallway lockers are cleared out and labeled ready for curbside pick up, we do have a few more than a dozen PE lockers in the Raven Gym, boys and girls that we are not sure who they belong to. If you had a locker please call the school and dial "1" to assist us with returning those belongings. Junior High students who earned 3rd quarter honor roll recognition we have those printed and will hand them out when locker items are picked up.
April is the Month of the Military Child and next week we are looking to show off some school spirit. Look below for the dates and taking pictures of your spirit wear.
Questions? Please leave a message by choosing option '1' on the school voicemail at 372-3110.
Thank you
Bruce Bell
Locker Clean Out and Curbside Pick Up
Staff has been busy bagging up students lockers. Come by the school between the hours of 8am and 3pm to pick up your students locker contents. No need to call, just drive up to the front doors and a staff member will be ready to assist you!
We have let the visitors center know of our times and dates in attempt to confine traffic.
