UC Santa Cruz Tour - San Francisco State University - Academy of Art

UPrep students finished off their UPrep experience strong with 3 tours to 3 very unique campuses. On Tuesday, we drove 90 minutes to see the 2nd largest UC Campus.

UC Santa Cruz is home to large plots of farmland, various types of trees, and trails that stretch from classroom to classroom. San Francisco State University was an urban campus with a vibrant landscape. The Academy of Art surprised many students with its' awesome video game department, original animation renderings and safety efficient campus.

Giving Thanks to Our Professors!

Our professors Chris Seymour and Jasmine Evans received thank you letters from the students. They've done an excellent job of preparing students for the daunting task of college admission. We are extremely grateful to them, and hope they will come back next year!

Random Happenings around UPrep!

Closing Ceremony!

Our closing ceremony reminded us why UPrep was started in the first place. Students shared a blog piece about their friendship. One group created a slideshow of selfies. The UPrep skit group showed how the program helped a student who was down on his luck. The ceremony ended with a video slideshow featuring all the activities from the past 3 weeks.
