Greetings Students and Families,
Students are moving through our Math and Literacy Stations better. This week students will be trying to work as a team to help each other meet station expectations. I will be reviewing station expectations during each transition between stations. Students are working really hard to transition quietly and quickly.
Math focus: Chapter 2 - Addition -
Monday - Adding Three Digit Numbers
Tuesday - Adding Four Digit Numbers
Wednesday - Problem Solving Strategies
Thursday - Review
Friday - Chapter Test
Expository Reading and Summarizing skills - Time for Kids - Bats!
Personal Narrative Writing - Unfreezing People
Every student has chosen a chapter book within their Lexile and met with me to set their individual challenge. Please help your student be successful by reminding them to have their challenge book and log (pink paper) with them every day.
Spelling focus: Review short & long vowels - practice nightly.
Habitats Field Trip
