Apple Foundation Courses

The Apple Foundations Courses are designed to allow educators to participate in extended professional development. Each 3 hour course is designed to assist you in learning more about your devices and the applications that are an integral part of Apple products.

November 6th - Darlington

Authoring Dynamic Documents with Pages

In this PD course, identify the unique strengths of Pages for learning and teaching, create visually engaging, clearly organized, and personally expressive documents, develop strategies to share, collaborate, and personalize learning.


Creating Compelling Presentations with Keynote

12:30 - 1:30

In this PD session, participants will identify the unique strengths of Keynote for learning and teaching, create visually engaging, clearly organized, and personally expressive presentations, develop strategies to share, collaborate, and personalize learning.

Documenting and Reflecting with iMovie

12:30 - 3:30 AND 4:00 - 7:00 PM

In this PD course, participants will identify the unique strengths of iMovie for learning and teaching, plan, edit, and create movies movies that tell a story, and develop strategies to share, reflect, and personalize learning

December 8th - Darlington

Publishing Interactive Content with iBooks Author

8:30 - 11:30

In this PD course, participants will learn best practices for iBooks Author and learn how to create and share an interactive Multi-Touch book with iBooks Author for

learning and teaching


Customizing Learning with iTunes U

12:30 - 3:30

In this PD course, participants will learn how to personalize, manage, and share learning by creating custom iTunes U courses, experience an iTunes U course as a participant to see how it benefits learners, and use iTunes U courses to expand and enhance learning opportunities
