Lower Grades

During class students are more likely to play on their phones if they aren't interested in what the teacher has to say. Most of them time they don't mean to be rude it's just a bad habit. But, if the students are distracted by their phones during a lecture it could definitely affect their grades and their understanding of the topic.

Young Children and Technology

Is exposing younger children to technology having an affect on them as well? Although laptops can helpful to the teacher and the students they can also be a distracting. Phones after Tests

The first thing a student is likely to do after finishing a test or quiz is pull out their phones. The student could be studying or doing work for another class but that doesn't seem to cross their minds. They only really care about twitter updates or a new text message.

After they realize there is only a short amount of time before they have to go back to class, they shovel down their lunch as quickly as possible.

Sneaky Phones

As said in the last picture, technology may make us lazier humans. If a student hasn't finished a homework assignment it is easier for them to look up answers on their phone or laptop instead of actually doing the work. It also makes it easier to cheat on tests and quizzes.
