Quarter 1 Awards on Monday & Tuesday!
Red Ribbon Week!
Student Council is sponsoring several activities during Red Ribbon Week!
See below for a list of planned events:
Monday, 10/21: Deputy Higgins will be on the morning announcements to introduce Red Ribbon Week. All students and staff will wear red ribbons!
Tuesday, 10/22: Pledge to Be Drug Free on the morning announcements. Wear red today!
Wednesday, 10/23: A special message from our Student Council Officers on the morning
announcements.
Thursday, 10/24: Say No to Drugs Contest winners will be announced and prizes will be presented by McGruff and Deputy Higgins.
Wednesday, 10/30: McGruff will present about Halloween safety on the morning
announcements.
We would like to thank Mrs. Hollin, our Student Council sponsor, and our Student Council Officers for all of their hard work in planning for Red Ribbon Week!
Report Cards Go Home on Tuesday!
Unity Day on Wednesday!
The purpose of Unity Day is to demonstrate that we are working together to prevent bullying. We are united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion of all students. Encourage your child to wear orange on Wednesday, October 23rd to celebrate Unity Day!
AR Party on Friday!
On Friday, October 25th we will have our Quarter 1 AR party for students who met their AR goal during the 1st nine weeks. Students who are eligible will have a pizza party! Please continue to encourage your child to read and take AR tests.
Lock Down Drill on Friday!
We will conduct a lock down drill on Friday, October 25th. During the school year, we will conduct one lock down drill each month to practice our emergency and safety procedures.
Book Fair is Coming Soon!
The Book Fair will be open the week of October 28th. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair during special area classes. The Book Fair will also be open during Trick & Treat Night on October 30th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Hat Day on October 31st!
Students can pay $1 to wear a hat on Thursday, October 31st. All proceeds go back to students in the form of rewards and incentives!
Fortify FL App
All of our students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks at school. We also have Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at anytime using the app.
