Thank You YWCP Friend!
May 12, 2016
Thank you for joining us for our Leadership Breakfast Kickoff Event last night!
Hearing from our principal, Toyia Wilson, demonstrates the extraordinary opportunities our students are receiving in their academic, social and emotional development. Already, they are showing their effectiveness in engaging with state educational leaders, providing a "Day of Caring" in our community, meeting the challenges of the core curriculum and much more! Their success is a result of you!
Your continued commitment and support is a valuable gift for which we are most appreciative. Thank you!
Also, I am grateful that you have chosen to support the students of Young Women's College Prep Charter School by being a Table Host for this year's Leadership Breakfast. This is a great way to ensure students like Tori (pictured above) will continue to have access to a "whole girl" education that will prepare them for graduation, college, and life success!
We were so excited to announce two of the 2016 honorees: the amazing Pam Sherman and the Xerox Foundation. Both have done so much to support the students of YWCP over the past few years. We look forward to announcing the "Man We Love" to you shortly!
Now comes the fun part! You can start inviting your friends, family members, and co-workers to join you for this fun and inspiring event on Wednesday, November 16th! Please refer to the Table Host packet we handed out for instructions and sample scripts. You can also access that packet here.
One easy way to get started is to copy and paste the sample email script below into your own email and send it out to your guests. However, if you would like YWCP to send an email invitation, similar to this one with event information and links in it, to your guests on your behalf, please email a list of names and contact information to Lauri Bonnell.
For your convenience, payment for your table can be made using the button below. Payment is due by September 15th in order to have your name included on the invitation as a Table Host.

Dear (friend’s name),
I would like to invite you to participate in something really important to me, and to the Rochester community. I have signed up to be a Table Host for the Young Women’s College Prep Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, November 16th.
(If your guest has been to this event before)
Since you have been to this event in the past, you know what a fun, inspiring, and empowering event it is, and I know this year will also be great! More than 500 people attended last year to share in the celebration of all that is being accomplished at Young Women’s College Prep Charter School as a result of a large community effort. As a Table Host, I have personally committed to filling 10 seats at my table, and would love to have you join me.

Anyone who has attended this event in the past can tell you that it’s always a fun, inspiring, and empowering event! More than 500 people attended last year to share in the celebration of all that is being accomplished at Young Women’s College Prep Charter School as a result of a large community effort. As a Table Host, I have personally committed to filling 10 seats at my table, and would love to have you join me. To RSVP, simply reply to this email before October 15th.
Tickets are normally $60/person, however, you are being invited as my honored guest, so there is no cost. Please be aware that this is a fundraiser and there will be an opportunity to make a donation during the event. These donations are crucial to providing operating support for the YWCP Foundation, which provides the innovative programs that are putting the students at YWCP on the path to college: programs such as college counseling, Summer Bridge, “Cool Women/Hot Jobs,” and Mentoring.
You can learn more about this wonderful organization on their website at www.youngwomenscollegeprep.org. I truly hope you can join me in making a difference in the lives of these students and the Rochester community.
