You don't have to be a computer science teacher to include coding in your class activities. Below is a list of resources you can use to help you get started
Scratch
Scratch is an easy visual way for kids and beginner coders to create interactive games. Scratch is a great alternative to slide shows, and can challenge students who are motivated by gaming.
Code Academy
If you've ever wanted to learn how to code without sitting in a class, Code Academy has a plethora tutorials including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, SQL and other. A free resource.
Kahn Academy
Kahn Academy has several interactive tutorials to introduce you to computer programming.
