Elementary Science Coaches & Contacts Meeting

  • The meeting will be held at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge's Visitor Center.

  • This year we plan to travel to different locations throughout the area to share the wealth of science resources located in Palm Beach County.

Directions

From the North:

Take I-95 south to Exit 57 (Boynton Beach Blvd.). Or take the Florida Turnpike south. Pay toll at the Lantana plaza (#88) and proceed to the next exit for Boynton Beach Blvd. Exit traveling west. Drive west until you intersect with U.S. 441/S.R. 7. At this light, turn left and travel south. Drive approximately 2 miles south on U.S. 441/S.R. 7. The refuge is on the right hand side (west side of the road). There is a big brown sign that reads “Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge” with a right pointing arrow. There is a large right hand turn lane. The Refuge is on Lee Road and proceed west until you reach the entrance fee booth. Stop at the stop sign and tell the Refuge Ranger that you are attending a meeting in the Theater and then they will direct you to turn right to the Visitor Center. Once you enter the Visitor Center the theater is to the left past the information desk and the Friends of the Refuge Nature Store.


From the South:

Take I-95 north to Exit 52B (Delray Beach's Atlantic Avenue). Or take the Florida Turnpike north. Pay toll at Exit 81 Atlantic Avenue - Delray Beach and exit. Exit traveling west. Drive west until you intersect with U.S. 441/S.R. 7. At this light, turn right and travel north. Drive approximately 3 miles north on U.S. 441/S.R. 7.
