Spooner High Update
October 26, 2016
Breakfast Options Expanded
We are observing how this service goes for another week to determine if any adjustments need to be made. Any feedback you have as parents would be appreciated and can be directed to Sarah Johnson or Doreen Miller.
Please note that ALL students are still offered one FREE breakfast every day. This means that a student could take breakfast at either of these times with no cost to the family. If a student wants a second breakfast, the account will be charged for one breakfast.
Powerade Student Athletes of the Year Nominated
All voting will take place at www.vikingcocacola.com starting on October 28th and lasting until November 25th. Each voter will be able to cast their ballot for their favorite male and female student, once daily. After the votes are tabulated Viking Coca-Cola will notify winners.
Vote daily for Mark and Dani!

Veteran's Day Assembly: November 11, 2016 @ 10:15 a.m.
As always, our music department will feature selections for entertainment. We are also welcoming honored guest veterans to attend our ceremony with our Spooner students. It is truly special for our school community to honor the veterans in our students' lives, and we hope your family will choose to participate. At the event, we will announce the student and the name of the veteran, branch in which the veteran served or is serving, and dates of service. Students and veterans will have seating at the front of the assembly. We will also host a social after the ceremony where guest veterans and students can enjoy refreshments together.
Registration forms are on our high school website at http://www.spooner.k12.wi.us/schools/high/index.cfm. They can also be picked up in the office. Please return by November 7th for our planning purposes.
We hope to see you all on Friday, November 11th at 10:15 a.m.
