Chile's Physical Features

Chile is a pretty thin Country in Latin America which is separated into four regions. These regions are the Far North, the Near North, Central Chile, South, and the Far South. The two main physical features in Chile are the Andes Mountains and the Atacama Desert. The Andes Mountains are located on the East most boarder of Chile and covers about half of Chile. The Andes Mountains are also named one of the highest mountain ranges outside of Asia. The Atacama Desert is located in between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean which is in Chile. The Andes Mountains are a plateau located in South America that covers a 600 mile strip of land. Most of the desert is made up of stony terrain, salt lakes, sand, and felsic lava that flows towards the Andes Mountains.

Cuba's Government

Cuba has a very different government than most of the other countries in Latin America, and just because their government is different or looks bad doesn't mean their government is bad. Cuba has a Unitary System of Government as well as a Autocratic type of Government. Cuba's leader is Raul Castro, the brother of Fidel Castro. Raul Castro is also known as the President of Cuba. Cuba's past last leader was Fidel Castro who could be called the Prime Minister, Chief of State, or the Head of Government of Cuba. Cuba does have something similar with other countries though, which is their branches. Cuba has a Legislative, Executive, and a Judicial Branch of Government.

Brazil's Environmental Concerns

Not all things in countries can be good, like a country's Environmental Concerns or their Economy. In Brazil their is a huge problem that can affect the world. Brazil has quite a bit of Acid Rain and a big Deforestation problem that can affect not only affect their country, but other parts of the world. As the population numbers rapidly rose, cities were force to expand with little thought for the environment which later caused problems. This meant that the infrastructure and so on was built using materials that caused, or released, harmful pollution and chemicals into the atmosphere.

Venezuela's Economy

Venezuela's Economy is different than other people's economy which is the case for a lot of country's. Venezuela's top 3 main trading partners are the United States, India, and China. Some major things that Venezuela gets (imports) from other countries are Food, Clothing, Cars, and Technological items. Venezuela also sells (exports) Petroleum, Chemicals, and Agriculture Products. In Venezuela about ninety-six and three tenths of the population can read and write, which are over the age of 15. Their GDP of Venezuela is $491.5 billion. Both the Literacy Rate and GDP were recorded in 2015.

Mexico's History

Mexico had quite a bit of Ancient Civilizations. The Olmec, Maya, Teotihuacan, Toltec, and the Aztec's were all Ancient Civilizations to Mexico. These Civilizations were also the first five major civilizations to Mexico. The Olmec were the first major civilization in Mexico following a progressive development in Soconusco. The Olmec lived in the Tropical Lowlands of South-Central Mexico, which is the area of present day states of Veracruz and Tabasco. The Teotihuacan was an Ancient Mesoamerican City. It was located in a sub valley of the Valley of Mexico, which is also located in the State of Mexico, Northeast of present day Mexico City. The Toltec was an Archaeological Mesoamerican culture that took over and conquered a state centered in Tula, Hidalgo (Mexico).
