Endangered Species
Pandas are well protected because they are an endangered species. Most of the reason this species is endangered is because of habitat destruction.
Panda
Grown pandas are about 75 centimeters (2.5 foot) tall and 1.5 meters (5 ft) long. They weigh up to 150 kg (330 lb).. Their thick black and white fur equips them for life in cool forests. Their white coat with black markings is unique, with black patches round the eyes and ears, black legs and a black band around the shoulders.
Bamboo
Bamboo is what makes up most of the pandas diet. Since it is low in nutrients they have to eat about 20 - 30 pounds of it. This snack is one of the pandas favorite things to eat.
