Baltimore defeated San Francisco by a score of 34–31. The game was played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 3, 2013. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was named Super Bowl MVP, completing 22 of 33 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns.
