Headlines
As you are all aware we had a visit this week from Ofsted HMI. They spent Thursday and Friday in school looking at all aspects of the school and speaking with children, parents, governors and staff. Thank you to everyone who filled in the questionnaire and for all the words of support we received. The thing we were most proud of was how the children conducted themselves, they are a real credit to the school and to you as parents and carers. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Staff and Governing Body for their unstinting hard work and dedication to the school. Sadly we have to wait for the outcomes of the inspection but I can report that the two days seemed to go smoothly and I hope that there won't be any surprises when the judgements come.
Best wishes
Mr Dudman
Message from the Cathedral
Governors had the great privilege of talking to children on their Pentecost Journey Day. They shared with us their thoughts, reflections and hopes from their work exploring the fruits of the Holy Spirit. As adults it is difficult for us to grasp how the disciples felt when the mighty wind and flames of the Spirit descended among them. Children often view things with more clarity in their uncluttered minds! They told us they were “hopeful”, “confused”, “sad” and “determined not to give up”.
The Bible tells us that the Disciples knew the Holy Spirit was present because they could feel His power in their lives. That power is in all of us. The Holy Spirit is with us today and though we can’t see Him we can hear Him speak in our hearts and moving in our lives. We can feel the power of that presence guiding us each day. We pray that we can learn to listen as the Disciples did and use the fruits of the Holy Spirit to love and serve our Father God in others.

Summer Fayre- "Beside the Seaside"
We shared our thanks via our Facebook page this week along with some photos from the event, but we would like to say a massive "thank you" again to everyone who helped, baked, donated, volunteered and attended our Summer fayre last weekend. The weather was very kind, the atmosphere was super and everyone had a lot of fun. Our grand fundraising total was an impressive £978 which will be put to good use for the benefit of all the children. Thank you again to everyone.
