Our Class News
October 30, 2014
The blue t shirt that came home Wednesday is our field trip t shirt. PLEASE find a safe place to keep it so when it's time to wear it we can all match. We do this for safety reasons to keep all the kids together, etc. Plus it's cute. :)
In Language Arts we have been focusing on setting while using the story hand to retell stories.
In math we sorted and described the attributes of objects. We played a fun shape attribute game where the kids guessed which shape was missing by describing it's size, shape and color.
Our habit this week was Habit 4 Think Win Win. Encourage your child to look for ways to solve problems that make everyone involved happy. If they are creative enough they can do it. Part of Thinking Win Win is not being a bucket dipper just to get what you want. You try to make sure others can get what they want too.
Jackets - Please label them with your child's name so if he/she leaves it someplace we can get it back easily. Thanks!
