Hinduism and Buddhism
Hinduism and Buddhism both date back to ancient times.Even though both religions were founded in Ancient India, vast differences remain between them. Billions of people worldwide still practice these religions today.
Hinduism
Hinduism is a very big religion 1.2 billion people worship it around the world, that's 3x as many people as in the United States.The followers of Hinduism are called Hindus, they worship in temples and meditate doing yoga.In their belief is "God is everything and everything is god."Hindu teachers are called Guruses, Yogises, Rishises, Priest, and Priestess. Hinduism originated in 3000 BC, and their Main god is Brahman.
Buddhism
People who follow Buddhism are called Buddhist, they worship in monasteries, nunneries, and pagodas.Between 500 million and 1 billion people worship Buddhism, and most are said to live in China. The Creator of this religion was actually Hinduism his name was Siddhartha Gautama, and Buddhist have to follow the rules and eternal laws and rules of the eight-fold path.This religion does not include a creator god, this religion is based on theories of everyone's greed.The main teachers of this religion are monks and nuns.
Similarities
These religions have some similarities, like they both believe in karma and non-violence, both have spiritual practices in their worship centers like meditation, and concentration. They both believe in reincarnation(the rebirth after death), and there are no angles excepted in the religions.
It is likely Hinduism & Buddhism will be around for thousands of more years considering its popularity today.Despite its ancient history, people worldwide still practice them today.
