Primer May newsletter

April 29, 2015

First, thank you for your time last week for our parent conferences. It is amazing to reflect and see the progress our kids have made over the year. This progress would not be possible without all of us: parents, students and teacher working together. Thank you for your hard work and effort.

Please make sure you reference the dates at the bottom of the newsletter. We have many exciting, upcoming events. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Last Call: Primer Advice Book

First, thank you for those who have contributed to our Primer advice book for the incoming families. For those who have not responded, please take a moment to jot a note about the year to incoming families. I can't tell you how much they appreciate reading this book. No comment is too small or big.

Primer Survival Guide

The last homework assignment of Primer is the survival guide. Can you recall reading the guide your child received? Well, now it is your child's turn to create a guide for a student coming into Primer. Please take the time to help your child with this guide. Some children find it difficult to evaluate the year. I will go over the assignment in class but students may need help recalling projects or trips. Remember you can always flip through the photos on Photo Circle to help your child recall the year. This assignment will come home on May 8 and is due on May 15. Thank you for your support.
