Classes will dismiss at 3:25 p.m. on Friday, January 14th, and will resume at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18th.

5th grade parent meeting for Middle School Registration

Attention 5th Grade parents! Please make every effort to attend the parent information meeting for incoming 6th grade students. Celina Middle School Principal Mrs. Briscoe will discuss course selections and other important registration information for the 2022-2023 school year. Parents will receive course selection papers to take home to review with their children, and then those papers will need to be returned to O'Dell Elementary.

Important Reminder for Morning Carpool Students

All carpool students need to be dropped off at the front of the school (east side of building facing Bluewood). The back of the building (west side facing Carter Ranch) is for buses only.

CHESS WIZARDS CLUB - NEW DATES AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student will have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

Please avoid scheduling doctor or dental appointments for your child on the following dates:

Tuesday, May 10th - 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades Math

Wednesday, May 11th - 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades Reading

Thursday, May 12th - 5th grade Science

Watch D.O.G.S.

Our Watch D.O.G.S. Program is going great, and we would love for more dads to volunteer! Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that allows for fathers/father figures to participate as volunteers on our campus and provides positive male role models for our students. Please follow these steps if you are interested in participating in Watch D.O.G.S.:

When you arrive at school to volunteer, please check in at the front office. You will be given a t-shirt to wear and a schedule to follow. Your schedule will include time in your child's classroom as well as volunteer opportunities in other areas of the building.
