Just a reminder to parents/whanau that students arriving at school prior to 8:15 am need to wait under the hall's covered verandah, closest to the classrooms. A bell will ring at 8:15 am to indicate that it is time to enter the classrooms. Teachers use the time before 8:15 am to plan and prepare for the school day. Thank you for your understanding.
Teacher Contact
A friendly reminder that if you would like a message to reach your child during the school day please contact the school office. Teachers don't always have a chance to clear their emails during school hours. Thank you.

Lunchonline

Happy New Year and Welcome to Term 1, 2023!
Lunchonline is really excited to enable new and improved services for our customers through our website and our systems. We are in the process of completing these enhancements and we will let you know the finer details of these changes and additions as they are completed.
To let you know a little bit in the meantime:
Minimum top-up for lunches is now $1. This means you only need to top up as much as you need for each lunch, or alternatively you can top up a larger amount for the term if you like to avoid lots of top-ups.
Submit your order – No longer has a review page. This means no extra step, simply place your order – press submit and it’s all done.
Great news - Lunchonline will be set up to facilitate many more school payments/ activities / etc (see below), and we have discounted our commission to just 5% on all school fundraisers and discarded the administration fee.
Lunchonline is also going to be offering schools some extra exciting fundraising initiatives, more information on this to come – watch this space!!!
UPDATING CLASSROOMS
At the beginning of every year students will usually change classrooms and/or schools - please remember to update your child’s details by clicking "members" and changing their classroom name and school (otherwise their lunches will end up in the wrong location).
If the child no longer attends a school with Lunchonline then you can make the child "inactive" by unticking the box next to their name.
LUNCHONLINE LUNCH DONATIONS TO SCHOOLS
Lunchonline is thrilled to announce that we have been able to donate to three schools this year from funds donated. When a Lunchonline account is closed the account owner can opt to donate the remaining funds to help provide lunches to students. We are currently identifying schools that have the need and capacity to enable this.
Please contact us at info@lunchonline.co.nz if you would like more information.
WIN A FREE LUNCH PROMO
This competition was a big hit in 2021 and we will certainly be running this again soon, watch this space.
TOP TIPS WHEN USING THE LUNCHONLINE WEBSITE
- Always remember to press “Submit” once you have completed your order.
- “Transactions” will show all your top-ups and purchases.
- Remember to check the cut-off time for your providers. To view cut-off times and menus – go to “Menus” under “Families” on the Home Page.
- If your child is unwell or can't attend school, log onto Lunchonline, click on the order for this day - you will see a cancel button. This must be done before the providers cut-off time for ordering (most providers are 9 am on the day of delivery, but some vary - check with your school).
MISSING LUNCH PROCEDURE
- Normal procedure when there is a problem with lunches is that the child would go to the office as soon as they notice a problem.
- If the food item is not located, we ask the office staff to ring the Lunch Provider.
- The provider will either refund the family or deliver any missed or incorrect lunches to the school immediately. This way the problem can be fixed immediately.
- We appreciate your help in ensuring all children are aware of this process.
PTA FUNDRAISING LUNCHES
- Many schools continue to change to Lunchonline to facilitate their school fundraising lunches. They love our system because it's so easy.
- When your school uses Lunchonline there is no more cash to count, no paper forms and no banking to be done, it is all done for your school on a quick and easy delivery report.
- It means families have one account, they use the same system to order their Pita Pit / Sushi etc as well as their sausage sizzle.
