As of August 14th, the Career Center has resumed operations on the 2nd floor of Clark Howell Hall.
Walk-in hours are regularly held Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Career Center multipurpose room. Check for your career consultant's satellite hours here.

Arch Ready: Explore Lab: Choosing a Major Workshop
Time: 3:30-5 PM
Location: Clark Howell Hall Multipurpose Room (Rm. 246)
Come to this interactive workshop that will help you choose a major! This workshop is open to first- and second-year students exploring majors at UGA. If you are an undecided third or fourth-year student, please call the Career Center to make an appointment with a Career Consultant – 706-542-3375. Students can attend ONE Explore Lab for Arch Ready credit.
You will need to bring a laptop or tablet in order to participate. In this workshop, you will learn online resources to help you navigate the exploration process, areas of interest and how they connect to majors, common major and career myths, and how to create an action plan and move forward.

Are you a first generation college student? Come to this workshop to learn how to best represent your experiences on a resume!
Arch Ready: Building Your LinkedIn Profile
Time: 4:30-5:30 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 150
Join us to learn about the importance of having a LinkedIn account, how it contributes to your personal brand, and how to build your profile.
Arch Ready: Career Assessments 101: Interests
Time: 3:30-4:30 PM
Location: Clark Howell Hall Multipurpose Room (Rm. 246)
Open to all students at UGA—this workshop can be applied to major and career exploration. In this interactive workshop, you will learn about your interests and how they relate to majors and careers. In order to attend this workshop, you will need to take a free online interest assessment, click here to begin: https://www.mynextmove.org/explore/ip Please bring your laptop or tablet in order to participate. This workshop is limited to 25 people per session and pre-registration is required on uga.joinhandshake.com. Students can attend one Career Assessments 101 workshop for Arch Ready credit.
In this workshop you will learn the importance of self-assessment and self-knowledge related to career planning, review the results of your interests assessment in-depth, and find and use resources to connect your interests to college majors and occupations.
Arch Ready: Job Search Strategies
Time: 3:30-4:30 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 171
Come to this Arch Ready workshop to learn the ins and outs of job searching. We will highlight key tips and strategies for organizing your job search and using your time wisely. You will also learn how to leverage and build your job search network, and explore the Career Center’s best job search resources. Lastly, we will cover how to compare job offers and negotiate compensation. Don’t miss out on this essential Arch Ready presentation! Please bring your laptop or tablet.
