Genetics---What Makes Up the Human Body? November 17, 1860
Gregor Mendel stated that he was experimenting with plants when he realized that genes were inherited and came in pairs. Offspring inherit one allele from each parent which reflect in their appearance, in this case, one gene is dominant and the other recessive. This discovery from Mendel is important with the learning of why people, or even plants look or act the way that they do.
Abraham Lincoln has been in office for thirteen days and the country has already proved to have problems with him.
