causes of autism

There are no known causes for autism. research suggests that it might be genetic.

Long and Short term affects

Most children who are diagnosed with autism are able to do therapy that will help them to improve social and motor skills and go on to live happy and normal lives. Some of the effects of autism may include:

  • Social isolation
  • Difficulty making and keeping friends
  • Troubled having romantic relationships
  • Lowered self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Depression
  • Difficulties adapting to changing life circumstances
