Thank you for a fantastic October here at North! We've got a busy November ahead.
Yearbooks go on sale November 1st. They can be ordered online here through March 15th. A select few will be available for purchase at the end of the year through the school.
4th grade will be going to the Earl Scruggs Center on Wednesday, November 1st.
Holiday Pictures and Fall Makeup Pictures will be on Tuesday, November 7th.
3rd graders will be taking their Math NC Check-In 1 on Thursday, November 9th.
Our Veteran's Day holiday will be on Friday, November 10th. There will be no school for students or staff.
4th graders will take their NC Check-Ins on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 14th and 15th.
Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, November 16th.
Thanksgiving break will be November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
Our 3rd and 4th graders will be presenting "Jingle Bell Jukebox" on November 30 at 6pm in the gym. Students should arrive to school at 5:30 wearing red, white, or green. I hope you all can attend - the students and Mrs. Aderholdt have been working hard to prepare!
PTO will begin our 3rd 9 weeks "Skip the Line" raffle after Thanksgiving. Please be on the lookout for this information closer to time.
Parents, I would like to remind everyone that no students should be dropped off in our front parking lot or on Ramseur Street in front of the school. This is a huge safety concern. Please make sure they are dropped off in the back of the building in the car line. Our line moves quickly!
Lastly, parents, please make sure you have your ID with you if you're coming to school to eat lunch or check out your child. Our sign-in/out system requires a driver's license or ID to be scanned. We strive to keep our students safe. This is one additional step we can use to ensure the safety of everyone here at school. Please share this information with anyone who may come to school to eat lunch with your child. Please note that visitors are not allowed to go to classrooms after lunch. Please say your goodbyes in the cafeteria. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
