Here a few helpful tips that we would greatly appreciate you reviewing with your child to raise the awareness of everyone.
- Please be sure you have your safety equipment (helmets, bells etc)
- Ride at a safe pace which allows for braking.
- As you approach others be kind and considerate- this includes slowing down, passing with care and on our school sidewalks walking your bicycle.
- It is also highly recommended that your bike is walked through the tunnel area for the safety of all.
- ONLY cross your bike at designated locations- crosswalks. These areas are deemed the safest for all during heavy morning traffic.
The Colony PD has responded to our concerns and plans to have representatives cover bike safety at National Night Out! Stop by and visit them and thank them for their responsiveness to our concerns.
If our campus becomes aware of specific concerns with students we will speak to the students and parents in a prompt manner. Thank you in advance for your support!

6 - 8 Grade LiveSchool Program
Prestwick Parents & Important People,
We are looking forward to a great school year! This year, one of our big goals is to create a learning environment where every student is modeling our core values which are: persistence, adaptability, solution focused, and service.
This year we will be using LiveSchool for 6-8 graders. This is an app that will help us share feedback with you and your child. Your child will receive positive points in LiveSchool for modeling our core values as well as making positive choices in class.
You will be able to access all of this information right from your computer or phone by downloading the free LiveSchool app. On Monday, August 27th, your child will bring home a sheet explaining how to set up both yours and their accounts.
We also want to make learning fun for your child. As part of our use of LiveSchool, your child will be able to spend his or her points at the Lobo Store. Our Lobo Store can is run solely on donations from the community. We welcome anything that you are willing to donate, time or goods.
We will be working hard to make this the best school year yet for your child! To learn more, please visit the following web address for a short video introduction to the service: tinyurl.com/LiveSchoolParent
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Sincerely,

Queridos padres,
Atentamente,
