Major tsunami

The last major tsunami was the Indian Ocean tsunami and earthquake. There were 230,000–280,000 deaths. The shock and movement magnitude was at 9.1-9.3. It was 51 meters. It was in aceh in Indonesia. The reconstruction took a long time and there were many homes destroyed.

Comparing hurricanes, tornadoes, and tsunami

A tsunami is a huge wave that can reach hundreds of feet high.

A hurricane is a storm with strong spiraling winds.

Tornadoes are like tsunami because they are fast moving and can destroy everything in there path.
