2023 Earth Day Youth Summit

“Make the Future Now” at the 2023 Earth Day Youth Summit will be held on April 22nd, 2023 from 10 am-4 pm at GLOW Academy. To help fund this interactive environmental event, we will be hosting a Spaghetti Trivia night on March 28th at GLOW Academy. Spaghetti will be available for $10, and trivia cards will be available for $5. Proceeds will go towards the 2023 Earth Day Youth Summit.

As the future generation, our young scientists will navigate a changing planet using progressive technologies and research methods. This event will feature a variety of engaging presentations and activities on some of the most pressing environmental issues of our time and how this generation plans to navigate it.

Highlights include a "slow" fashion show showcasing sustainable and ethical fashion alternatives, discussions on climate change and its impact on a global and local scale, presentations on future earth innovation and technology solutions, and explorations of environmental engineering.

We hope that you and your family can join us. For more information, email kjosler2029@glowacademy.net or obeall2028@glowacademy.net.

Has your student ever dreamed of pieing a teacher? Well here is their chance! Starting Monday, March 27th, the Prom Committee will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to pie a teacher. Tickets are $1.00. Students may buy as many tickets as they want. The more tickets they buy, the better chance they will have to pie a staff member.

On Thursday, April 6th, we will all gather in the courtyard to have a drawing for each staff member and the lucky student whose name is drawn will be the one to throw the pie for that teacher!
