Leadership In Action
Seven (7) lessons The seven-lesson online course will teach you how to speak up, communicate better, make a plan for your future, and become a stronger self-advocate. We will practice together and share our stories!
Six (6) lessons This six-lesson online course will help you build your knowledge of healthy foods, nutrition, and exercise. You will learn how to take charge of your health, make healthier choices, and help others learn healthy skills too.

WI FAMILY ENGAGEMENT NEWSLETTER
The focus of the newsletter is to have a resource for families, schools, and agencies to go to for timely and relevant information on different special education related topics, at-home learning strategies, online resources, recent research and statewide events.
The newsletter is provided by the Wisconsin Family Assistance Center for Education, Training and Support (WI FACETS) through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
IEP Mini Modules from WI FACETS
The IEP process can be confusing and overwhelming, especially for parents new to the special education system. These 30 minute modules break down what you need to know about the IEP process. You can watch through the entire ten part series or jump right in with the modules that are most interesting to you. Clicking on the module will direct you to a registration page. After filling out the required information, you will be able access the recorded video.
These webinars were aired live from January through June of 2020.
