Marco's Pizza Night

Once again Copopa is entering into the Marco's Pizza Night School Challenge!

There are a couple of ways to help us out!

1.Order online ANY day or time during the school year and we can earn Pizza Points.

2.Walk in or Call in orders on the designated Marco's Pizza Nights will also earn us points!

Marco's Pizza offers these School Nights and they give back a percentage of sales generated from those nights that are called in on the phone or placed in the store. They give EVEN MORE for orders placed ONLINE! All orders online will be counted in the year long Online Challenge. BE SURE to hit the fundraiser button before you order!

This works for either the Strongsville or Berea location! Be sure to enter our school name when placing your order! Our designated day is Thursday, January 20, 2022. But remember that we can earn points ANY day of the year if you order online and enter our school name and if you remember, your child's teacher's name!

Cup Stacking in PE

For the past 8 or 9 years Mr. Hershey's PE classes have been part of several new Guinness World Records. In November the annual Stack Up took place again. Organizers invite schools from all over the world to take part in trying to get the most people cup stacking on the same day. Unfortunately we were not part of a new record this year. Covid continues to make it difficult for some to get together, but we will try again next year. Here are some great pictures of our Copopa kids stacking.

4th Grade Choir

The 4th grade choir performed an outstanding concert on Thursday, December 16th. This was the first year having a 4th grade choir at Copopa Elementary School. The students signed up for the program and gave up their recess one day a week since October to practice their songs. This was a very fun and festive concert and the students cannot wait until May to put on another performance.

Snowmen like being chilly but you can warm up with HEAP! The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) provides a one-time payment on a household’s utility or bulk fuel bill during the program season. The benefit is applied directly to the utility or bulk fuel bill. Low-income Ohioans can apply in person at their local Energy Assistance Provider (EAP) or complete an online application at energyhelp.ohio.gov. **If your heat is turned off or you have a disconnect notice call your local EAP to make an appointment for help. To locate your local EAP or for questions call (800) 282-0880.

Wishing all families a warm, safe holiday season.
