Upcoming Events @ MPHS
- November 2 - No School for students - Parent/Teacher Conferences from 2:30 pm to 6 pm. Parents will be able to sign up for fifteen minute conferences with teachers. Teachers may be reaching out to you to schedule a conference. Directions for sign up and how to access Zoom links was shared via email this past week.
- November 2 - Freshmen Ring Bell of Knowledge, 12-2 PM -Information on ringing the bell of knowledge was emailed to 9th grade students and parents this past week.
- November 3 - No School for students - Election Day
- November 10-End of Quarter 1, All asterisk work from last spring must be completed by this date.
- November 11-Veteran's Day, No School for students

The December SAT that was scheduled at MPHS has been cancelled. Please contact the College Board with any questions that you may have and for rescheduling your testing location.
Governor's School Informational Session
Students in 9th and 10th grades interested in learning about the Governor’s School at Innovation Park are invited to attend the final information session for the fall of 2020. Dr Jason Calhoun, Director of the Governor’s School at Innovation Park, and Melissa Bach, School Counselor at Innovation Park, will present information about the Governor’s School. Should time allow, they will respond to general questions from the audience. Please register using the link below:

Virtual Job Shadow Experiences at Micron
Careers in a High Tech World Job Shadow Event
Micron will offer monthly virtual job shadow experiences for 9th – 12th grade students. Students will spend three hours learning about the semiconductor industry, interacting with employees in certain careers and finding out what it takes to pursue that career! Each month there will be different Job shadow careers to choose from. When you sign up you will receive additional information to attend the event, including your virtual link.
