A Message from the Principals
Happy New Year to you all and a very warm welcome to 2022. It is our hope that you all had a wonderful and restful winter break. It has been a pleasure seeing all the students and staff back in the building after a well deserved break. Just a reminder, as the snow flies and temperatures start to dip, children need to be dressed appropriately to go outside for snack and recess.
Please continue to view our school website for any updated pictures. We celebrated our Helpful Cub of The Month this week and it was a very tough decision for the teachers. We have so many helpful students here at Millbridge. Please help us in our efforts and begin to discuss respectful at home with your children. Respectful is our newest bear paw we are talking about in classrooms. Please also continue to talk about appropriate bus behavior and being respectful to friends and the bus driver while on the bus.
As always, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. Our continued thanks for your cooperation, support, and participation in assisting to education your children.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

Arrival & Dismissal
A few reminders:
- If you are dropping your child off in the morning, please use Hartford Road.
- In the afternoon, parents with Fast Passes will be brought into the cafeteria for pick-up first. This allows us to get a large number of students and parents out quickly, helping with both social distance and traffic on Conrow.
- We kindly ask that AM preschool parents arrive between 9:00 and 9:10. The busses and parent drop-off typically are still present until that time.
Picking Students Up
If you would like to pick your child up from school, please send in a note with your child or email the office at MBoffice@delranschools.org before 10:00 AM. If someone else will be picking up your child, please notify the office and make sure the person is approved to pick up the child in the parent portal.
PLEASE NOTE:
A parent or guardian MUST contact the office to notify our staff that someone else is picking up your child. Individuals who are listed in parent portal cannot request to pick up a child without the parent or guardian's prior approval.
Please do not send emails to your child's teacher with a change for the same day as they may not have the opportunity to check their email before dismissal. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
For full details regarding our arrival and dismissal procedures, please review the Back to School Cub Corner edition, which can be accessed by clicking here.
Covid Symptom Information
Any of the symptoms below could indicate a COVID-19 infection in children and may put your child at risk for spreading illness to others. Please note that this list does not include all possible symptoms and children with COVID-19 may experience any, all, or none of these symptoms. Please check your child for these symptoms:
Always keep your child home if they have a fever. However, if TWO OR MORE of the fields in Column A are checked off OR AT LEAST ONE field in Column B is checked off, please keep your child home and contact your physician to determine when your child may safely return to school.
Please contact us if your child is being tested for COVID. As per NJDOH policy, if anyone in your household is being tested for COVID, all unvaccinated students should stay at home until the results of the COVID test are known.
Please be advised, per district policy if your student is absent for three days or more, you are required to provide a doctor’s note for the absences unless there are pending covid related concerns.
COVID Vaccinations
Please be aware that under the NJ Department of Health's guidance, quarantine requirements are different for vaccinated and unvaccinated students.
Thank you for your assistance.

Become an Observer in Canvas
If you have not already done so, please be sure to become an observer for your child(ren) in Canvas. The information below is from the district's webpage and will help you become a co-observer. If you have multiple children, you will be able to see everything for them in one place. Teachers will be providing a weekly overview for parents and notes for the week in Canvas.
To enable co-enrollment (observer) in Canvas K-12 your student will need to generate a pairing code and you will need to link the account. A parent may pair (link) to multiple children in the same parent (observer) account.
You will need to set up the pairing through a web browser like Chrome. You cannot enable pairing or observing through the parent app.
Co-enrollment means you can view grades, upcoming assignments and due dates, missing work, and teacher communication.
Teachers can send individual, group, and course-wide messages to students and parents.
Once you're co-enrolled, you'll want to set-up your notification preferences. Click here for instructions on setting up your notification preferences.
