FCCLA Red Cross Blood Drive
The FCCLA Red Cross Blood Drive returns on Tuesday, March 14th, at the high school from 9 am to 3 pm.
Appointments are preferred to be made online at www.redcrossblood.org or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App on your phone. Appointments can also be made by phoning sponsor Ronita Jacobsen at 402-841-4566 or the high school at (402) 582-4991. FCCLA Members will be calling past donors March 6th at their meeting. Walk-ins are allowed IF there is a current opening.
Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with a completed parental permission form), meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. After testing positive for COVID-19, donors must wait 14 days before giving blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive identification (driver’s license).
To save donation time, please complete Rapid Pass on the day of the drive before arriving. It can be found at https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/manage-my-donations/rapidpass.html or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App on your phone.
Yearbook Sales
Testing Season
Spring Testing season is right around the corner. Our Juniors will be taking the ACT on March 21st. They will take this at the Public Library starting at 8:00am. When the test are completed the Juniors will be free to go, we will ask them to be back at school for a presentation starting at 2:00. The remainder of our NSCAS (state testing) and MAP (district testing) will be done starting April 3rd through May 12th. Remember to have your students get plenty of rest during this time and eat healthy to ensure that they are performing at their maximum potential!

Prom
Promenade - 5:00 line up, 5:30 start
Mary's Restaurant - 6:15 check-in, 6:30 pictures, 7:00 dinner
Dance - 8:00 - 11:45
Post Prom - Doors open at 11:45
Students will be required to stay at the dance. Any students that leave the dance early will not be allowed back into the dance and will not be allowed into post prom. Please contact me if you have questions.
